Title IX Non-Discrimination
The Tri-County Area School District does not discriminate on the basis of sex in the education programs or activities that it operates as required by Title IX of the Education Amendment Acts of 1972 and 34 CFR Part 106. The District’s obligation not to discriminate based upon sex in its education programs or activities extends to admission, participation, and employment. Board Policy 240.000 prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities. Questions about the application of Title IX and 34 CFR Part 106 to the District may be referred to the District’s Title IX Coordinator, the U.S. Department of Education’s Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, or both.
