We’re thrilled to announce that our Tri-County Technology Education Department has been awarded a $37,500 Fab Lab Grant, funded by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and our amazing local partner, Heartland Farms!
Thanks to the continued efforts of Mr. Semrow, this is the second round of Fab Lab funding we've secured with Heartland’s generous support. Tri-County is proud to be one of only 20 schools in Wisconsin to receive this award this year!
These funds will help us upgrade our lab equipment, especially in metal fabrication, bringing even more hands-on opportunities to our students in STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.
We’re excited to grow our program with tools like 3D printers, laser engravers, CNC routers, and plasma cutters — empowering students with real-world skills for the future.
