Mr. Semrow’s Construction students are putting their knowledge to work—literally! 💪 They recently prepped and poured concrete for a brand-new sidewalk leading to the pickleball courts, and also removed and replaced the old shotput pad with a fresh installation.
This dual credit Mid-State Technical College course combines theory with practice, allowing students to take what they learn in the classroom and turn it into hands-on experience. “It’s real hard to understand construction without getting your hands a little dirty.”

This past Thursday was a great day to head over to WI Rapids and check out the Wisconsin Education Fair (WEF) at MSTC. 35 junior and senior students took two hours out of their day to spend some time checking out both local and non-local post secondary options. They had a great time!

Artist of the Week - Annabelle Sweeney is a junior in 2D Art, section 3. This is Annabelle's first time painting with ink. She did a fantastic job. Her craftsmanship, blending and color choices are spot on for her creepy subject matter. Her piece measures 12" x 9". Annabelle always takes great pride in creating outstanding artwork and this piece reflects her awesome effort.

Today marked the first day of Tri-County's ExCEL play group for the 2025-2026 school year! We were delighted to see so many new faces (and familiar ones too)! Today's theme was all about COLORS, and each family received a copy of the book, "Peacock's Rainbow Feathers" and a fun rainbow stacker ring toy. Come play with us next month on October 24th at 9:00 am!

Artist of the Week - Aidan Brewer is a senior in 2D Art, section 3 and he is the art room TA this year. Aidan did a fantastic job with his painting of John Wick. His use of color and attention to detail make this 20" x 16" acrylic painting pop! Aidan has been a standout artist for all of his years at Tri-County. We are excited to see what awesome art he will make for his final year here at TC. Aidan also has possible future career ideas in art.

Here at TC we want our students in school every day, but this Friday is the most important day. On the third Friday of each year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction counts ALL the students to determine how much funding schools will receive to help provide quality education. Please help TC make sure we receive crucial funding by having your child in their classroom and on time tomorrow, Friday, September 19.
The cross country team and Coach Woyak want to say thank you for the support during our recent online fundraiser. We were able to raise hundreds of dollars thanks to our community's generosity. The money raised will be used to help fund running camps, running shoes for runners who need them, snacks, Gatorade and water to ensure the team fuels properly during the season, etc. Thank you again! Your support means so much and makes a world of difference. Go Penguins! 🏃♀️🏃♂️🐧 #FN5GL #sweepstakes @TC Penguin NATION @T-Mobile
